On Pause through Spring 2013

The last 5 years has found Strange Arrangement traversing the Midwest and the country sharing our brand of jam funk to anyone that would stop and listen.  The list of people to thank is too long to mention everyone individually, as it seems everyone we have come across wants to give a helping hand or lend us a kind word for doing what we do.  That being said, after our show at the Park West on November 21st, Strange is planning to take the Winter/Spring off to recharge our batteries.  Time has become an issue for all of us with two of our members children growing up more and more every day, day jobs, school work needing attention, mortgages to be paid, and other side projects beginning to take shape.  Being able to find time to catch our breath, write new songs, and keep things fresh for our fans has become a daunting issue.  We plan on taking this time off to reinvent ourselves in order to hit the road again next Summer and beyond to send Strange Arrangement to the next level musically, spiritually, and professionally.
This is by no means the end of Strange, this is an opportunity to breathe new life into and energize what we have already accomplished.  Words can’t begin to describe our love and gratitude for the thousands of Strangers out there that have helped support us in immeasurable and incalculable ways.  It sounds cliche, but there really is no way we could have lasted as long as we have without the sturdy backbone of love, laughs, and generosity by everyone who ever came to see us, bought a CD, played us on the radio, or introduced us to their friends or loved ones.  This is not the end of Strange, this is hopefully the beginning of a new chapter that will take us even further across this great country and to places we never imagined.  We still have two months of shows left before this hiatus, so please check out strangement.com to see if/when we are in your neck of the woods again, and lets make these last shows for awhile count.  Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, we’ll see you soon!
